The Rocket Town Scratch Grind design wedges are designed for different types of player. The six different type of grinds are EGG, PDG, SFU, SND, TNC and TOUR. The EGG grind design allows the ball to come off the clubhead higher and to produce more spin. The EGG design was designed for the player that doesn't generate as much spin. The PDG grind design was introduced to allows the player to control the shot trajectory but also get their desired amount of spin. The SFU grind design allows the golf ball to come off the clubface lower and with less spin. The SFU design was designed for the player that produces a lot of spin and doesn't need extra spin.

The SND grind design allows the player to control the amount of spin that is produced. The TNC grind design allows the ball to come off the club face much higher and allows for better accuracy. The TOUR grind design is used by ninety-four percent of the Rocket Town professionals. It has a combination of all five of the other Rocket Town wedge grind designs.
